Definition TI_eff
Dear DTU team,
I was wondering what your definition of TI_eff is. I want to be able to calculate the effective turbulence intensity for the turbines in my layout, however, to my knowledge effective turbulence intensity is an integration over all wind directions and has different values for different wind speeds. When trying to extract TI_eff from my simulation result, for for example turbine 3, using "simulation_result.TI_eff.sel(wt=3)" I get a value for each combination of wind speed and direction, although I would only expect 1 value per wind speed bin.
Is TI_eff then just a summation of the ambient and wake added turbulence (for a specified direction and speed) or is this defined otherwise?
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards, Geeske Ridder
