Low level IO functions should throw exceptions when they fail
At least for parts of the prepost.windIO.LoadResults, only warnings are printed when a result file fails to load. I think the correct behaviour should always be that the actual reading function throws an error when it fails to read a given file. When an IO function is used elsewhere (for instance when post-processing a bunch of files) it should properly handle any possible exceptions thrown by the basic IO functions.
